1990 Long Bed Step Side

Since Jeep didn't make a step side, I figured I would. I pulled the bed, and started from scratch on a bed.

The back of the bed was a little long, so I cut it off just behind the shackles.

It is a long bed truck, the bed is now 6'4" long. I don't know how long they are from the factory.

7 foot and 6 foot bed options were available from 87-92.

 

So far so good though. Should look at the J-truck side step bed for ideas.

It's getting closer to getting on the road. Building rock rails for it now.

Left to do is wiring the windows.
