Phillip Gwin
Since Jeep didn't make a step side, I figured I would. I pulled the bed, and started from scratch on a bed. The back of the bed was a little long, so I cut it off just behind the shackles. It is a long bed truck, the bed is now 6'4" long. I don't know how long they are from the factory. eaglescout526
7 foot and 6 foot bed options were available from 87-92. So far so good though. Should look at the J-truck side step bed for ideas.
Phillip Gwin
It's getting closer to getting on the road. Building rock rails for it now. Left to do is wiring the windows.

Phillip Gwin
Not welded to the frame. I have a few of the building of the bed that I will post. Here's a few.
