I bought a pair of doors off a 98 Cherokee. It bolts up to the hinges fine, but don't seem to fit exact into the opening. Is there a trick that I don't know about?

no, the adjustment would go the other way. it appears to be about a quarter of an inch too far back, and the shim (there was only one) would move it back farther.

I have an 88 and a 98, the hinges are exactly the same.

I've installed 98 doors on my 88.

What no one talks about is what a PITA it is to get the doors adjusted correctly.

I rewelded and repinned my hinges.

I made new shims from thinner material.

I fought them.

you should probably put a build thread link in your signature. :L:

I have tried to start a build thread, the problem is all my pictures are too large to post. I have tried to resize them, so far with no luck. I really think you all are going to like this build, I am building a step side bed, and it looks pretty cool so far.

Let's see if this one works. I have about 50 good pictures of my progress. Down side is, looks like it needs bigger tires.

how big are they?  you shouldn't need to resize them, the built-in software will do that for you. :L:  but I've found I can overwhelm the code if I do too many at once.

I just know when I try to download them, it gives me an error, they all seem to be around 4Mb. I have been just taking pictures at the end of the evening when I make progress. These doors are sure impeding that for today.
