CODriver
Hey. My current manual steering box is not working well and I need a new one. I would really like to add power steering to make it easier to drive as a first car. I'm wondering, what parts would I need to do this conversion? eaglescout526
Hoses, pump, reservoir, sensor and power steering gear box. Most everything except the 2.5L reservoir can be had easily. Also there's no need to find a bracket either. The empty pulley is an adjuster for tension on the belt so all you'll need to do is swap in a pump(the pulley/bracket is bolted to the intake manifold on the drivers side). CODriver
I'm thinking about buying a remanufactured pump without a pulley. Do I need to buy a pulley to attach will it just bolt on to the empty pulley already there? Also, what sensor do I need?
Swampy
You can use 2.5l stuff or you can use 4.0l pump reservoir and gear box. Only thing with the 4.0l pump is having to space out the pulley so it is in line with the others
