I have no idea how you get such a number but Chrysler shows it as unpriced and not available.

I already bought it and it's on its way so that stuff is out of the way lol . Just putting the cat before the horse and seeing what it's all about . My truck goes in storage November 1st so this won't be installed until spring sometime .

Need Cruiser to chime in........

I googled the part number and seen where Cruiser chimed in on a thread , he referred to using premium fuel and possible timing differences iirc. I'm really looking for someone that has had firsthand experience if at all possible, iirc I don't think Cruiser had one ...

That would be awesome!!

Think I’m gonna go buy an old performance catalogue and see if it is in there. I’ll try specifier tomorrow. My assistant manager told me that they may not be able to pull up any info on it since it is old.

I thought the answer would Chrysler repackaged the 1990 ecu to clear out old 1990 stock but if cruiser said timed differently it has to be a one off Jeep offered as the new HO 4.0 rolled out.
I’m curious what it will do.
The old renix computers can sometime be picked up cheap, well for one they sat on a shelf for 20 years and the other is some sellers read bendix and assume it’s for the abs

What year is your catalogue? Chrysler shows that your part number does not supersede to what Stroker has just picked up. But that's neat info. Saves me a phone call tomorrow.

I read an article in a 4WD magazine back in the late 80's about a performance ecu for the jeep 4.0. It was supposed to increase fuel and timing and other things for more performance.  Went to the Jeep dealer and they had one but it was over $400 at the time. Don't remember the p/n but could be the one above.
