Long tub or short tube? What is the difference? Which brand? Where dija get em? Coated? Ease of install? Rated from 1 to 10, with 10 being most difficult.

Please advise.

AFE Headers, by far the best fitting, highest quality headers I have had on a Jeep, Except maybe Mike Leach which are long gone. No issue with post 99 intake hitting the exhaust. Extremely well made piece of kit. But very expensive now.

AFE vs. my old cracked header. Can't remember the brand but it wasn't cheap. Lasted 2 years. This is the third header on my Stroker. Black one was ceramic coated. did last long either. I got it coated by a reputable shop. Didn't bother with the AFE.

Mike Leach header from days gone by. Bolted to my Accurate Power stroker from 1999. That engine was a beast.

Just did the pacesetter swap on mine. Was disappointed that the collector pipe contacted the bell housing and required.... modification.

One bolt on the bottom end of the manifold could not be torqued.

Overall I'm happy with it so far. Only on day 2 driving after install though.

I’ve always run Borla no issues. My 95 xj I bolted a borla up when it had 15,000 miles and ran it to over 525k on the original engine. Borla’s on my MJ strokers as well. No clearance issue with the newer intake.
