SatiricalHen
I don’t like the 2 spoke wheel my truck came with very much. I do like the 3 spoke wheels, but from what I’ve heard they’re the same size as the 2 spoke wheels. Has anyone swapped in a smaller aftermarket wheel that sits far enough back that the turn signal can still be easily reached. Most I’ve seen have hubs that seem to stick pretty far out. If I remember correctly, Hornbrod used a steering wheel out of (I think) a Buick in his truck. I know it's from some GM car, not from an AMC or Jeep vehicle. Here it is -- Buick Regal:
dasbulliwagen
Any wheel from a GM style Saginaw steering column should bolt on. They literally made millions of them.
schardein
I ran a XJ steering wheel for years on my CJ. Recently put an original CJ wheel back on and noticed the rim of the wheel sticks out further from the horn button than the XJ wheel does. They are the same diameter though.
