JeepFanactic
I just finished lifting my MJ 3.5 inches in the front. The factory bump stops are closed to the new coil spring. It looks like they may start rubbing when I hit a bump. Is this normal or is there a way to fix this. This is my first time doing a lift kit. Also I have adjustable upper and lower control arms which I lengthen a little bit. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Pete M
pics would help. what is your caster set to? is the tire centered front to back in the wheel well?
WyoCherokee
sounds like you need to change the length of your lowers and then re-set your pinion with the tops. got pics?
dasbulliwagen
I agree with changing the length of the control arms to put the spring/ bumpstop in the correct position in relation to one another. Keep in mind pinion and caster angles when doing this.
