Notifications

Hi All,

 

I am a member of several forums.  Love them.  Great resource for specific information on a topic.  This is a great forum for the Comanches.  

 

I am a member of another forum that sends me an email every time someone responds to a thread I am subscribed to.  I would like to have that feature here.  Does this forum have that option?  I'm not too computer savvy, so am having trouble figuring it out.

I did that, but it doesn't send me an email when new content is posted in a thread I am subscribed to.

huh.  I'll forward that on to our tech guru.  maybe the emails aren't going out.

emails are apparently going out just fine.   I'll look into it more in the morning.

I'm running out of ideas.  make extra sure it's not on your end (check the spam folder, make sure your email address is correct, things like that)

Hmm...  weird.  Ohh well.  I'm probably doing something wrong.  I'll make due.  It's still a good forum.  Thanks for the effort.

hold yur horses!  I don't know the fix yet, but there is some evidence that shows it might not be on your end, but rather our 1's and 0's having some confusion about sending out the alert emails...  stay tuned...

Hey Pete.  It doesn't look like I'm getting notifications either.  The only thing I can see that might be an issue is "someone comments on something I follow" is grayed out.  It says administrator has disabled this option from being toggled.  "New content for things I follow" is checked though and I don't get the email notifications.  I don't log on as much as I used to, so I want to make sure I'm not missing anything.

I get the notifications on the website, but not to my email.
