Next wiring question!!!! Interior Lights

None of my interior light work. Both of the lights in the back of the cab have wires run to them but no bulbs as far as I can tell.

 

How do those things work?

They take a funky cylindrical bulb. You should be able to get the P/N for them looked up in any auto parts store.

 

 

If not, I can track down the P/N for you, it says in the manual.

They work two different ways, you simply toggle the lens, (or light cover) up or down. up should turns them on continuously, and down makes them turn on when the door(s) are opened.

 

The Part Number for the Bulb is C11-7W

Thanks for the help guys........well the ones that did help. I've never seen a bulb like that. It was just weird. I'm getting used to the parts stores not being able to look up parts for me though.

 

I tried the light earlier but it was in the middle. I guess I need to toggle it up or down to make it work. I'll be working on that in the morning.

 

Is there a fuse for them?

yes, there is a fuse for anyhting aletrical on a vehicle. i think its under the steering wheel on the left side of the pedals.

There is a fuse, but not specifically for them. It normally ins't the problem, those lights just seem to suck for some reason. Mine worked every now and again.
