jpdriver1 Posted August 26, 2018 Posted August 26, 2018 this is the slave cylinder we just installed in my 89 4.0. (replacing B/A 10 with AX 15) it has a quick disconnect on it ----- need to get it off, so we can connect the new clutch master to it or convert the clutch master to quick disconnect. Precision 619003 --- trans is in sorry for the oversized pic --- computer issues also help please
yxmj Posted August 26, 2018 Posted August 26, 2018 Pull the "hair pin" at the base of the line right were it goes into the main body.....the line will pop out....there is an o ring....replace the line with your old one and push the clip back in.
Eagle Posted August 27, 2018 Posted August 27, 2018 So what's left if you unscrew the quick disconnect -- a conventional flare fitting?
jpdriver1 Posted August 30, 2018 Author Posted August 30, 2018 that's what I'm thinking, Eagle. I tried to unscrew em, no go -- going out a locating an 11mm line wrench to assist with this demolition. stand by for further details
Rockfrog Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 Yes it is just a standard 1/4" brake flare once the QD housing is removed. Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
