Dando
So I’ve searched the forum and can’t find a close up. Can anyone post a good close up of the stock tool used to work the spare tire winch? Specifically a few close ups of the end that engages the winch. Somehow over the winter I have lost mine. Anyways I plan to just take a piece of round bar I have and grind it to the shape I need and adapt it to fit my cordless impact.
dvitha
There are three kinds pretty much the same across the board flat tip type, the hook type and the square box kind. The jeep one is in a shape of a large flat head screw driver with the first bit chopped off. You can find generic ones. Climb under there and see how a large flat head screw driver fits. If I remember I can get a picture. 1999+ f150/ f250 fit perfect.

Eagle
It's the jack handle. Cherokees used the same jack and handle, so just get one from a wrecked Cherokee.
SVPete
The tapered end of the lug wrench works just fine.....
Dando
So As others pointed out the lug wrench works just fine. Just tried it to be sure. Works fine for me, don’t use the stock jack anymore anyways. One less piece to keep behind the seat. Thanks everyone
fiatslug87
Yes, the lug wrench works but it is much faster and easier with the jack handle.
