plus, where are you finding all of these comanches for sale. we live 5 miles apart and i haven't seen a comanche for sale in around 6 months.

I talk to people.

they aren't for sale. I stop in and persuade them to be for sale.

I'm a Jedi....

seriously tho, I actually have to pursue these things...the red one here, I had to look up the guys number via some internet sources I have, and I found his OLD phone number, he doesn't have a "landline" anymore he has a verizon wireless and I found his address via some stuff there, so I stopped out and left a message there and he should get back to me. it's at the place he's renting from, they lost his # and are also looking for it and he explicitly discussed selling it for the price I anticipate getting at with the person he's renting from.

and that's an easy one.

Tell ya what... To keep yourself from having to repay the fafsa and to promote the world of MJ ownership... buy the truck and sell it to someone else that you know is interested in MJ's for $50 more than you paid. This way everyone wins... Just my $.02 but if I were you I would do everything in my power to avoid that loan...

I own all of my stuff outright and have no loans or debt to my name. Its a wonderful place to be...

thanks.

I know myself well enough to know that I make good on payments. another thing I know about myself is that if I would not be able to literally work my way through college...I have this syndrome where I don't like homework, and if I have other things to do (work) I will make it a point to do those other things to do before homework....and I really need good grades so concentrating on them is a better way to go.

parents don't need to pay for my school either, I don't like them doing that. it's their money.

so fafsa is a good thing for me, and 20 hours a week would be fine.

I don't know if you said it, but how much you getting the red one for?

BTW your

guy want's like 50-75 bucks.

and thanks.

I am not looking for another project...In fact I would probably either fix it and sell it or part it out and make another trailer (keep cab for truggy in long run?.

the canyon rims will be staying with me guaranteed.

got it. tires hold air.

$70

no title like I said, but I've found the information (in it no less) to acquire the title. gonna do that.

got it home. motor was "junk" :P. yea, right!

so I messed with it a bit. broke out the entire steering column trying to get the damn key lock out...well, now I have a broken steering column that needs replacing, BUT I did manage to disconnect the system so that I can start her up by pushing the rod. I should have just removed the switch at the bottom of the column...

after cranking and all that good stuff, still wouldn't start (battery dead but was plugged into charger). decided to check some connections...ignition coil was a bit dirty, cleaned that, and she started up on 3rd try. ran rough and smoked for a minute or so, then smoothed out and now she purrs like a kitten. like new! yay. hooked driveshaft up (was removed), and took her for a spin.

realized that this truck experienced it's own bit of gas pedal breakage and had been "repaired". so I will be putting the throttle from tater in it.

filled 3 trash cans with the debris from the truck, but kept any information I found. passenger side door doesn't open. interior lights are MINT condition :D

aaaaanywho, thought I'd share that I'm a awesome. haha, seriously though, If I can't get the title, I will be selling parts or whole...rims and whatever parts I think I need, will be mine.

it would not be hard man come on you no you want to :brows:

haha, I have 2 trucks titled in my name right now, and I'm not even halfway through college. I've sold my snowmobile to feed the addiction, and don't have a gas mileage car...if anything, I'd just want to fix this one to drive it daily for the gas mileage :P

oh, did I mention it's been sitting for 3 years and it started and ran well in less than 20 min?

Crazy, dude. get a car! Christ, that 2.5L MJ will MAYBE get about 18-22mpg around the city. Trust me, I owned one.

it would get higher...I know how to precision-tune things or just have them run correctly in general....

i mean, they're rated at 27mpg as a 2wd and 25 as 4wd. if it's running right and I drive it right, i'd get gas mileage
