Ωhm
IAT would have been low on my list of things to check. Good find. Did it take care of your problem? What's Short term/Long term fuel trim values? May take a little time to stabilize these readings. As 87mjtim mentioned, do your cruiser's tips. I cleaned it and all of a sudden my lean/ open loop went to displaying closed and now lean/rich changing back and forth. I believe I have uncovered alittle of my problem. It went to closed loop almost immediately after cleaning the iat. You should be able to read those values on the REM.

Yes what I said in the previous msg was just what I seen the rem was reading. It was just after I cleaned it I seen it go into closed loop setup. It was staying on open before. I'm gonna do some more chk stuff tomorrow. I have done alot of things prior just need to look at the tips to check out other areas.

Could this be one of the idle problems?? Looks caked up? This engine did sit 2 years in its donor truck before I pulled it. The IAT had stuff on it as well. I cleaned it too. Oh well I didn't get anything to bleed out. I thought maybe they get carbon buildup and just don't function anymore? It seems from reading alittle here an there. The map, egr, and iat heck probably all of them play a vital role in idling. I just thought since the iat was so cruddy looking and the egr had crap on it I may be able to nip this in the butt with those being cleaner. I've gone over alit of grounds. Made the ground area clean used bigger wire. Made multiple ground spots. I think I'm close it's just something little holding it back. Crappy 02 maybe? cruiser54
If it doesn't pass air, that's good. You don't want it hanging open at the wrong time. How fast does your O2 sensor switch rich lean, rich lean?

It's warmed up right now I would think thats normal at idle unless I'm wrong on that?

I can't drive it on the road till close the end of December anyways. I mixed the title up with it and the the donor. Now I have to wait to get the good driver one back. Anyways I just got the "big three" I think they call it done. Now its 1 gauge battery wires and ground wires with ox gard on them now.
