Jetnoise Posted August 1, 2017 Posted August 1, 2017 Hey all. I've got an idea to trim up some roof rack rails from an XJ to mount on the MJ. Then add a small basket, say about 30"x 49" to the rails. I'd use it as a means to carry a spare and mount a light bar. The idea being its removable for daily driving , etc. I know the rain gutters would work as a mount but I'm not a big fan of mounting roof accessories that way. I tried to do a google image search but there's not much out there. Has anyone done anything similar? In my head it would look kick @$$ but in reality it may be a different story.
