Hi all,

I hope this is in the right place- just picked up my '91 Comanche yesterday, and wanted to introduce myself.

I bought this truck from the original owner for $3k, with 512k miles (250k on the rebuild). Equipped with the 4.0I, 5-speed, 7' bed, 4x4, Borla header, and a somewhat decent sound system! I believe it has the AX-15 transmission, but will confirm as I dig deeper into the truck. Also has a Ford rear end. Great running condition with 0 rust. Not sure if the pictures below are showing up, but here are a couple links to ext. pics:

I also own a '09 JKU, but wanted something a little more unique for my summer project/trail truck. I will be tuning her up this summer, with plans to add a lift and tires in the fall. Any tips/tricks/suggestions on where to start and what to plan for would be much appreciated.

Thanks for having me here, look forward to wheeling with y'all!

Welcome to the club! I have a white '92 MJ and a JKU as well ('14 Polar Edition in Hydro Blue Pearl).

Make sure you start a build thread so we can all watch your progress as you build it out. Mine's going VERY slow but it'll be rewarding and fun

Glad to have you here

Congrats! I was watching that one on craigslist, I'm glad to see someone buy it who's going to get involved here!

I'm in LA as well, hit me up if you ever want to tackle some trails or something.

Awesome! I'll shoot you a PM. Was hoping there would be a couple people here in LA.
