Aux Fuse Block qestions

Recommended Posts

I think I read the po settled on a non relay setup. initially I wanted to do a relayed setup but gave up after not long. I have a friend that wires up police car goodies and he sent me a link for what they use, which was basically a timer that could be set to keep power to the fuse block for up to 30 min after the ignition was turned off, if I remember right. it was also $200-300 so I discarded that idea. I did a blue sea box, and a circuit breaker so I wouldn't have to carry extra fuses, that would have just raised the price of a fuse setup to a circuit breaker. e7403657ff4fa29711b1b43e230de7b1.jpg787e8e4fa79b5e8427a3f888cd7c8525.jpg

I remember that thread and wondered what happened to it. Good stuff

Yea I don't have any excuse for not progressing on that project besides the usual "life" bs. Getting to do that IH as a practice run is invaluable though.

To everyone nervous or unsure about relays: any added complexity is well worth the stress relieved off the factory switches/circuits, whichever style you choose.

I'm still stuck in the old school Bosch standard automotive relay w. Maxi fuses era.

Same here. Simple and I already know how it works.
