Dzimm
Looking for the caps and light harness for the license plate lights. Only need about 10 inches of wire or so if you want to cut but need both bulb holders and covers they stick into. Shipped to 73703 The license plate lights are wired into the whole tailight harness. If you have a good tailight harness that's missing the plate light wires you can just tap into the tailight wires with new wire and connectors. Don't cut up a good harness just for the short bit of wire.
Kerry
Actually the plate lights have a separate harness that plugs in to the tail light harness, part # 56001054. The covers are necessary around here at least because the Police WILL write you a ticket if there's a white light showing on the rear of your vehicle. I had some black Gorilla tape wrapped around my broken covers until Yellaheep sold me a nice set,you might see if he has any more left. I also wonder if they might be GM style and if so Dorman may have them. I've looked for them at the auto supply with no luck but what they stock is a very small sample of Dorman's large product line. I did see they have some GM tailgate hardware that looks very similar to what's on the MJ.
Tactical Bacon
Dorman P/N are 68181 for Black and 68155 for Chrome finish for the GM Step Bumper style license plate light holders. I put a pair of them on my truck. Here's the problem: the metal spring clip that goes behind the bumper to hold the assembly in is not included with the light assembly and I haven't been able to successfully find them in a parts store because I need one for mine. GM OEM Number is 16503699 and they're available on like eBay and such.
Crash
If all else fails, use those built in led bolts for your lights.
SBpunk
Exactly. I'm trying to get everything working properly so they'll stop pulling me over. Luckily its a small military town and I train with most the local PD. Rather not keep taking my chances. Honestly I just need one side of the bulb harness since the other one is still there. Downside is I need the little cap that goes over the bump and the clip that keeps it set. Or I'll just super glue the damn cap on hahaha
500 MJ
Do you still need this, just one side?
SBpunk
Yes sir. I believe its the passenger side. Been awhile. The harness, bulb holders and the cap that covers at the bumper
