Please Help - outer stub shaft and wheel bearing assembly

Well I'm in pretty bad shape after all the snow off of a 3 story buildings roof fell on my 2 door yukon daily driver. I was hoping not to have to drive the comanche all winter after the countless hours i had into restoring it this year. I'm at the point now where I need to drive it and it needs some help. I am looking for a outer stub shaft for a 87 dana 30 with vacuum disconnect. I shreaded a wheel bearing and it wrecked the shaft while limping it home. So ideally I need a sub shaft and a hub assembly. I'm not looking for handouts, digging in the junkyard this time of year in maine isn't possible with 2 feet of snow on the ground, I am doing pretty bad financial wise with a new baby and the wife out of work. If anyone can help please let me know. I can pay shipping and a few bucks if you have what I'm looking for. I really appreciate any help I can get. Matt. I might have some parts to trade even.

Unfortunately I've had to postpone the run until next Friday. I'm 99% positive they'll have what's needed but they're 60 miles away and only open for bankers hours so Friday's the only day I can get down there.

Just to confirm, you're only looking for the stub shaft and hub, not anything else? I'd probably end up pulling those two together without undoing the nut. I'll grab the hub bolts as well. I could include the ujoint and the rest of the shaft too (assuming I can find them) or something else as well if there's anything else you need.

Also I'll point out that if you need them URGENTLY you might want to look elsewhere. It'll likely take a week or so to get them sent down after they're pulled.

I am interested in that. Ideally I could use everything from the u joint out. could separate it at the u joint and the ball joints. I don't need any brake components. Really the stub shaft is toast, the hub assembly and bearing is toast, pretty much my easiest route would be to install the whole knuckle with stub shaft and hub assembly. The only junk yard within reason of me is packed like sardines and you can't drive in. i don't mind working outside in this weather, it just honestly isn't very possible to access the locations of a few cherokees i know of.

I have the stub shaft and a knuckle. No wheel bearing. The stub shaft is on a short side axleshaft and I'd like to sell that as is, complete with the axleshaft. The knuckle is in a matching pair of them, again I'd prefer to sell them both as one does me no good. $100 plus shipping for it all. I could mock box it up and see what it would weigh. Let me know...

Not sure where in maine you are, but I have a complete 2001 low pinion axle out of an XJ for sale for $100 in Berwick, ME. I am looking for some trades if you are interested, like a set of aftermarket 15" wheels with 3.75" or 4" backspacing, pre-95 4wd aw4 and 231 tcase so I can finally finish my 4wd conversion. I can toss some cash in if needed.

I'm about to go hit the yard, although it's -20°F with -40 windchill so I don't know how long I'll be able to stay out there, but I'll do my best.

If that first work out I've got a stub shaft in my garage out of a '93, although I don't know what shape it's in, the bearing it's in is also thrashed, so I'll give it a look if I come up empty today. I've got a new-looking bearing with no box (don't know what brand so I don't trust it, but it'll be better than junkyard I hope) that came with the jeep that I've been hanging onto as a spare that I could send as well cause I'll likely never use it, but I don't know if the '93 hub will work in the earlier knuckle.

Well I tried. It wasn't so bad out there as I expected, but unfortunately, I came up empty. I trudged around the whole yard for a couple hours (it's a big place) but every jeep out there was sitting on the rotors with them frozen into the ground. No way they're coming out till April, maybe March if the melt comes early. Sorry, man.
