Ok so I removed the carpet from my jeep and found a spot that had been covered that looks to be a place for a shifter did all of the Comanches have the same body btw I have an automatic

I'm assuming you have column shift?  yes that's just the manual trans / floor shift block off plate.

For the transfer case shifter not for the tranny

Yes, every truck had the holes cut in the floor (and most have the holes in the firewall for both kinds of automatic shift cables) for every shifter option.
