cruiser54
I didn't jump. Only clarified. And as to the link....Huh?
cody4359
Apparently nobody reads the description of what's for sale in some links. There is one amazon link for a high altiude cps with no image on the first page. Click it if your curiouse and read. Not a big deal just something I noticed that apparently the gurus and old timers around here missed. And since we're clarifying things, renix=no cam position sesor but has ignition coil/ignition coil pack to give spark to the cap/rotor. ftpiercecracker1
Cruiser: I did/have always done both. I enlarged the hole and slide the sensor itself. It looked identical to my old one after I was done. Cody: I wish it was fixed. Well, I think the CPS issue is fixed but now I have a new problem. Why do these things always seem to break down together? I am going to start a new thread so people won't get confused.

Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk A coil pack is a collection of ignition coils that transforms power from the automobile's battery to generate sparks to the spark plugs that drive the engine's cylinders. Coil packs provide better horsepower than distributors used in older vehicles. Kinda like a pack of animals. Renix has an Ignition Control Module which contains one coil and it uses a distributor. It's a lone wolf. There's clarification.
cody4359
Nice Google skills with a pack of animals flare thrown in. My bad for incorrect terminology, I'm still calling my ignition control module a ignition coil pack as do alot of others. Looked for a cookie emoji for you but there isn't one Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

cody4359
I guarntee you haven't seen it all. You must have been an only child, or trying to compensate for something.. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk Yep. I'm pretty new to Jeeps and Comanches........ I like to keep things clear and correct when giving advice. Terminology included. Giving advice without clarity to someone is irresponsible. I had to compensate for your inaccuracies by giving some clarification. That oughta be a crime I guess........ Don't try to turn this around like I did something wrong. YOU used the wrong terms. YOU didn't realize what was being worked on. YOU gave irresponsible advice. I catch ya and I'm suddenly the bad guy.
cody4359
Woah woah woah... you get called out on not seeing everything know to man amd you get defensive? The way you expressed "catching" me was a little prickish, do I care-not really. Terminology changes thru out the country, West coasters call a 4x4 buck a 4 point, goofy southeners/east coaster say 8 pointer. Do I feal bad for offering info on what helped my 97+ swapped that doesn't apply the the OP? NOPE Irrisponsibe advice..... lol really, go take a viagra and get laid if your marriage hasn't failed yet. Or if what gets you off is trying to show your Internet superiority, feel free to browse thru my posts and clarify everything else I've said wrong. You'd be doing the world wide Web a favor, go-go now and fix it lol Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
cruiser54
Grow up. Are you Hillary's campaign manager? Deny and deflect the truth. Personal attacks because the facts are against you. No wonder this country is going down the tubes. Go to your Safe Room and color for a while.......
MeanLemons
LOL safe room, he sure need it. Using correct words (I have to dumb this down a bit for you) goes long ways, along with absolute clarification (oops I meant how clear it is) so not just the OP know what's being talked about, but for other people who happen to stumble upon this thread with similiar problems. it would be much better and straight forward to use correct (words) and advice. Stop being all butt hurt about it. Cruiser may be new to jeeps and Comanches but it doesn't mean you can use slang, shortcuts, or substitutions for proper (words).
