Pete M
that's right, I said spanner. :D got this through ebay from a place in England for less than local. instantly one of my favorite tools :D got it specifically for use on tensioner pulleys when there isn't enough clearance for a socket wrench (and that happens a lot these days in new cars). Makes it a breeze to install the belt on our Liberty CRD. (and that's up from being the most difficult I've ever had to deal with). HOrnbrod
I could have used one of those in 7mm yesterday when changing out my tired old front air dam w/o removing the bumper.
schardein
I like it. I have some old craftsman box end wrenches with the two sizes on one wrench. Normal length, but the 1/2" / 9/16 is really handy for battery maintenance. I use military style top post terminals, 1/2" for tightening to the battery post and 9/16" for the cable connection. Knucklehead97
I could have used one of those in 14mm a couple months ago when I was changing this ladie from works alternator... took me an hour just to get a wrench on the tensioner pulley at a good enough angle to loosen the belt. I hate newer cars for how tight the engine bays are. Only took me 20 minutes to change the alternator and get the belt back on once I got it off.
