krustyballer16 Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 Bo is having me build him a set of sliders for his Trailhawk. there seems to be a lot of interest on the cherokee forum. wasnt sure if anybody here also had a newer cherokee that would be interested in a set of sliders also... check it, i havent started building them yet. waiting on blueprint finalization and then theyll be lasered out and bent. price i don't know for sure yet. krustyballer16 Posted May 23, 2016 Author Posted May 23, 2016 Almost got a set done and realized that I had built them wrong... There is a left and a right side. And I had to miter the ends at 45° also for a left and right side. I cut them both for a right side... Didn't notice until this picture. The slider tapers front to back, wider in front. The slider with the round step welded on is wider in the rear... 100% wrong. And these were supposed to be done so I could ship them to Bo today. Didn't happen. I'll have to have another set cut out and I'll build a good set and a bad set and do something with the bad set...Balls!
krustyballer16 Posted May 23, 2016 Author Posted May 23, 2016 Nothing but a thing. They look amazing though!This is why I probably wouldn't do prototype work for/with anybody else! Amazing help along the way with everything we've done so far! And it's helped open some other doors as well!
