Adwyth
Hello all! I've been lurking for a while and figured now would be a good time to introduce myself. I have recently aquired a MJ from my brother. My dad put alot of work into this truck and I wanted to keep it in the family. It started out its life as a 1991 2x4 Pioneer complete with faded purple paint and hockey stick stickers. Not much is left of the original truck. The cab, drivers side fender and bed are the only original parts left. The parts were sourced from several XJ's and a ZJ. I plan on giving it a good cleaning and keeping it the way it is for a while. Thanks for reading!
Megadan
That's one sexy au to mo beel you have there. Interesting rear roll bar, I am assuming custom made?
Knucklehead97
What is the lift and tire size on that? I love the stance. Absolutely love every bit of the truck. Welcome from Attalla Alabama :D
1992EliminatorSWB4x4
Your Comanche sits nice and level with no rake I like it that way .Looks great in black with that roll bar.
Adwyth
Thanks! The rollbar is originally from a Toyota I believe. It was originally waaaay too tall, but a cutoff wheel fixed that. Here is a little better side shot. Sorry for the crapy lighting, I am by no means a professional photographer.
Adwyth
Thanks all! It has a 3 inch rough country lift with 31x10.5x15 pro comps. I'm not too far from you Knucklehead! I live in Somerville and work in Huntsville.
HOrnbrod
Welcome to the club. Perhaps the rear end is down a couple of inches due to the trailer resting on the bumper?
Adwyth
Yea, that pic looks a little deceiving. The trailer is just sorta resting on the trailer hitch. I don't pull the camper with the Comanche, but it sometimes provides shuttle service around the yard. The truck sits fairly level when unloaded. Alexia
Interestingly, I have not seen your Comanche around the city.
Adwyth
The reason you haven't seen it is because it isn't my daily driver. My 2008 Hyundai Santa fe blends in to traffic alot more and makes the 70 mile round trip commute alot more comfortable. I have done alittle bit this week. I got insurance and tag for it. Yesterday I bought a brush guard off of craigslist. I also closed on my house yesterday. I'm excited because I will finally have a very nice garage to work out of. I have really been enjoying reading all of the articles and threads around here. There is alot of good info!
