Anyone here ever checkout Garage Journal????

They have a harbor freight thread of tools that are worth it or not. i was wondering could we start a tool thread here kinda in the same fashion. Alot of my tools have been used for other than their intended purpose, plus homemade tools ya know....

 

if this is something maybe we could do, thought it might be nice to have one?

Been a member for years but it's costly... as in I buy all sorts of tools after hanging out there for a day or two LOL  Excellent site for ideas on garages, questions about tools, techniques. Great site and busy.

Like wise. Long time member there, but all I do is read and realize how much I still NEED to buy!

 

On topic, I love the Harbor Freight Ball Joint Press. I know some folks say it's junk, but I've done 7 Jeep axles with it as well as a GMC 2500. Within the next couple of weeks I'll be using it to do Land Cruiser ball joints. Keep the threaded rod greased up and it keeps on going!

Alot of their stuff is very good, and how you take care of things matters alot. I like their stuff for the most part

I'm kind of a tool junkie so I spend quite a bit of time there to say the least :D
