Do I have to pull the oil pan to see if there is anything inside? The noise the comanche makes is similar to what others have posted on youtube... engine only has 155 k on it... and i don't do any hard driving with it. It is a 1987 4.0L.... on a side note... if it is the piston skirt.. I'm thinking about doing a stroker :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The Renix Jeeps were not prone to skirt breakage. That came with the HOs. Auto trans? Could be loose flexplate bolts. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
