shawn Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 everything ive read says it should take close to 2. i drove it for a couple of weeks and tried to put more in but it was still actually full.
Wiggilez Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 is it for your 86 or your 91? cause the 91 would have a 231, but the 86 would have a 207.
shawn Posted September 28, 2015 Author Posted September 28, 2015 it's the 91. i sold the 86 last year.
mikekaz1 Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 would it be because of the 15 degree downward pitch of these trucks vs wranglers?
shawn Posted September 29, 2015 Author Posted September 29, 2015 it was level. plus when i re-checked it, it was facing the other way in the same spot so, double-level :) and i would think the downward pitch would, if anything, allow more fluid.
Wiggilez Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 it's the 91. i sold the 86 last year. there goes my guess
shawn Posted October 20, 2015 Author Posted October 20, 2015 i bet it's no coincidence that there is a howl now coming from that area. i'm pretty much convinced that it's the output of the tc. i couldnt tell for a while and just assumed the d35 was getting loud. plus i put my hand on it last night and it felt quite warm.
ParadiseMJ Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Did you pour the fluid in the TOP hole...or the bottom? Just askin'
shawn Posted October 21, 2015 Author Posted October 21, 2015 not the drain hole. so , yes.i put it in the upper hole. i did not put it in the speedo sensor hole though.
mikekaz1 Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 Its all connected/ open. You should only have to fill the one plug hole
