Zebvance
Looking to replace my instrument cluster lights with LED. I find the stock bulbs pretty dim at night and I'm wanting it bright. Just normal White is what I'm looking for. I have seen a ton of these "kits" that include all the bulbs to do it but I want the opinions of people that have done it. I know it depends on the actual LED bulb that's on the socket that will tell me how bright it is going to be. There is just so many I'm lost. I would also like to upgrade the 4x4 shifter and trans shifter lights. Any help or opinions would be great. Thanks.
sloride
Whitegauges.net That's where I got my LEDs. Love em. You won't need LEDs for your bright or turn signal lights.

sloride
I started my led conversion by wanting to do white face gauges. When I bought the white face gauge package I opted for their LED bulbs. They will tell you size you need as well as the quantity and colors available.
sloride
Nine bulbs seems to ring a bell but I had a tach gauge cluster I was installing at the time so I counted to make sure before I ordered bulbs. I remember reading somewhere not to get bulbs for your blinkers and bright light bulb. After installing my LED bulbs I could see why that would be an issue since they are so bright and would blind like the Vegas strip.
JeepsOLot
I have LED's in the CJ, even the blinkers and high beam, and they are just right, now I can see them with the sun shining on them. I guess it depends on the light pattern of the LED too, remember that. I got mine off SuperBrightLEDs.com. Great site! Jerry

gogmorgo
Just a note, unlike conventional incandescent bulbs, LED's are sensitive to polarity. They won't work if you put them in backwards. If it seems like you've got a dud, spin the bulb around and try again.
