MJDigger-CT
Hello , gents and ladies. Probably beating the dead horse , however planing on lifting my Mj around 3 inches. Not looking to do any hard core wheeling and am looking for a decent on road ride quality. Have been searching around , this kit seems pretty nice , the Rubicon xj super ride RE6020M minus the add aleafs and rear end components , and probably pic up the set of hellcreak lift springsin the back. teamsmith
I would like to do the same. I see that the difference between the 6020 and 6020M in the inclusion of mono-tube shocks in the M. Are you able to use the rear shocks out of this kit? If not, what shocks are you using?
ggcnash
I'm using bilsteins but you can use their shocks just indicate to them you have an MJ which has different rear shocks. Good luck
ggcnash
Just to clarify, I didn't use RE full kit just front 3.5". Rear is hellcreek 3" shocks are bilsteins all around

xjrev10
I have: IRO 3" coils WJ adjustable arms (4) Hell creek leafs. This is on my SWB and it rides like a lumber wagon. But the springs are not even close to being broke in. I'm thinking after they got some miles on them, they will be ok.
ggcnash
Few bags of sand will help break in
xjrev10
Few bags of sand will help break in Yep. That's the plan. And leave it flexed out often when it's parked.

MJDigger-CT
Hello again. So my truck has been on blocks for far too long now and I'm trying to install my new rear leaf springs. And my gut is telling me I'm putting something in @$$ backwards. Either the springs , shackles or the bottom plate the shocks mount too. So if any one has a pic of a stock set up in the rear and has a picture they could through up. It would help a bunch. Thanks
fiatslug87
The plates mount differently between long and short bed. Top pic is long bed, bottom is short bed, both views from the rear. Let me know if you want specific views.
MJDigger-CT
Awesome your the man thanks a ton just what I was looking for. Now I take it the larger eye on the leaf spring is toward the engine? Also , the straight part of the shackle is facing toward the rear?
