Paul Bruchal
Has anyone here have seen or own Rustys Steel Fender Flares? I'm really interested in them, looking like they could actually protect the MJ. http://www.rustysoffroad.com/new-products/rustys-steel-fender-flares-xj.html I cut all the rust off my Jeep years ago, so my wheel well is sitting pretty high with nothing covering the tire. 3.75 backspacing wheels. I know it will be cheaper to build my own but I don't have the skills or tools available.
Eagle
Pretty ugly, IMHO. And I hope you are aware that the MJ rear wheel arch openings are larger than the XJ, so the rears probably won't work.

Incommando
I have a new version of Rusty's front trail bumper (winch under the bumper) and I can attest that it will take a licking. If the OP is just looking to cover larger wheel wells after removing rust the easiest way is 4 REAR tj flares at all four corners. A little plastic trimming and they mount right up. Why people put those tj fronts on an MJ/XJ and wind up with redundant lights and a mess at the front is something I do not understand:
Paul Bruchal
I know not to buy Rustys suspension or was it the control arms for their crappy joints? I havent heard anything bad of their bumpers or skid plates, etc. I wasnt gonna get the rears because I know they won't fit and I have a flatbed MJ. I like the TJ rear fenders idea, looks great. I was looking for protection from impact then wheel cover

Blue XJ
I'm glad I made my own, the Rusty's ones are ugly. I'm not bashing them as a company either, I've ran many of their products with no issues.

In think that would work fine. Yeah the TJ flares are only for coverage.
