swsws1 Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 1989 comanche eliminator runs and drives great. 4.0 auto trans 2wd 170k miles factory undercoat. New fuel pump and fuel filter. New calipers and pads on the front. All new parts have less than 20miles on them. Interior is in great shape for the year. Exterior has paint loss and minor surface rust here and there but nothing is rusted thru. The rockers and bed sides are solid with very little rust. 2000$ obo
FarmerBrown5 Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 I believe this is the Jeep..... http://fortwayne.craigslist.org/cto/4761660235.html
shelbyluvv Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 That "89" has 91-92 stripes on it. Wonder if it is actually an HO truck.
Incommando Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Aren't the newer eliminator stripes available re-popped? Maybe it has been repainted/re striped?
shelbyluvv Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 They are but I have seen many "85" Comanches for sale and a few others listed wrong as well. It does'nt hurt for a potential buyer to have more information than the seller. What they do with that information is up to them. There is even the slim chance that it isn't an Eliminator at all and could be a totally different truck. Maybe a Pioneer or a base or a..... With it being listed as a 89 with the wrong stripes on it brings even more questions to me. Why was it re-striped? Was it wrecked? Where are the body moldings? Was it repainted?
