If you're not having bump steer with your RE one, maybe I'll put the OTK on and just see what it's like. I'm a broke high school kid, I have to buy it a few parts at a time!

I'll check that out! You're liking the JCR OTK?

Also, thanks again for the info on the sliders!

No problem , Glade to help ! Ya I'm liking the JCR steering , it's way better that stock and it's simple ! No reinventing the wheel on this one . The only complaint I have is I had to limit the steering stops to keep the steering from hitting the springs but it's not a huge deal and iv been on the lookout for a remedy to it like an offset TRE or something . I gave the front end a workout a couple weeks ago when I took it wheeling as I plowed the front end into / over everything I could and put some good rock rash every where and just barely kissed the steering in a few spots .

IIRC there was a rumor of a "spacer" that was used on early J trucks that had a similar steering setup that used a metal washer top and bottom with a piece of rubber in between that supposedly worked better than the plastic/polly one sullied I the kit though iv not had to replace mine ever so .... As for bump steer I never had a huge problem with it before I modded the track bar but that could be just me .

Yea I've heard of that actually! I'm gonna save up for the JCR steering for sure.

As for my sliders, I'm buying the steel today, 9 bucks a foot

I run WJ knuckles and a custom 1 ton steering on my XJ.

I had worn out stock everything so the upgrade cost was offset by that. Calipers, pads, rotors were about same cost as stock.

I went OTK/OTA and used synergy double adjuster to allow custom bends and stock GM TRE's as the offsets wear out quickly.

I run the Teeves calipers, never had an issue, and can lock up my 35s on demand. I also have room to run a 15" alloy Wheel ... It's tight but clears fine (steels would have loads of room).

Best upgrade I ever did.

I've had the JCR OTK kit since it came out, actually, I was their test rig for the first prototype setup. I think, its been about 12 years now, I just finally had to replace the tie rod ends, the boots ended up tearing and mid and water would get in them. I run the Rock Krawler track bar with their drop frame mount. It's a double shear setup at the frame, and you upgrade to a 5/8" diameter bolt at the axle, using the stock bracket. On road I have no bump steer. Offroad its noticeable, but not bad enough to change it in the last 12 years. For $300 the steering is a nice setup, just takes a little bit of work to modify the axle to run it.
