89comanchelilred Posted October 3, 2014 Share Posted October 3, 2014 Hi, I have a 89 jeep Comanche 4.0 non ho it stutters and jolts at 35mph, loses power or dies going up a hill, high idle when starts up or at low rpms and now have a slight tick or knock some advise to save my engine would be nice kinda confused what's going on Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Knucklehead97 Posted October 3, 2014 Share Posted October 3, 2014 Sounds EXACTLY like what my truck did when the MAP sensor line melted itself shut. Its the sensor on drivers side firewall with a green plug. The line goes into the side of the throttle body. But yes, also do Cruisers tips as they are VERY helpful.
