CWLONGSHOT
I have herd that a picture is worth a thousand words..... Lets see. Sometimes just jacking up or letting the entire axle droop gets it done. But when thats not cutting it, this little trick works wonders!!! Just FYI, CW

Mitch
This to me, is everything my wife needs to see in order to approve that new $70 floor jack from Sears.... Is that you CW?
pingpong
The way I do it, is unbolt front driveshaft... (make sure vehicle is supported well) remove the LCA bolts at the frame, and replace the UCA bolts then when it comes to getting the lowers, have them attatched at the axle end, and use a pry bar, or push with your feet till you can get the rear part in place. works great, but so does the wrench and bottle jack :D

feerocknok
I hate lining those things up. Next time I take em off I'm just going to go to radius arms. I have spent HOURS working on getting those back on. Other times they slide into place.

Twisty
Hey CW...the pipe wrench and jack idea worked great!! I used it today when installing my adjustable uppers. I had to rotate the axle which was being held by the springs. Worked like a charm. Thanks for the idea and pic!!!!!!!!
