thejim42 Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Can you add foot well curtousy lights to a truck that doesn't already have them. And I have checked all my fuses, put new bulbs in and my b-pillar lights still don't work. Any ideas?
Spectormj Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Wires!! And yes you can Go led from Highbeam off road Talk to Volsjk (Matt Loxley)
thejim42 Posted August 23, 2014 Author Posted August 23, 2014 I've got the factory lights out of my 86. And I was afraid someone would say wires.
johnj92131 Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 The plug is there in my 91 Comanche. It is also there on other years. Not sure about 86, but suspect it is there. Just have to pull the lights from a Cherokee and plug them into the Comanche. Simple. Even I could do it if I find the lights I purchased a couple of years ago.
TheDude Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 I had to swap the interior harness/fusebox in mine due to clutch master leaking. The replacement harness had the footwell lights and they work!
TheDude Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 The new harness also had a headlight timer delay.
Minuit Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Mine was also wired for courtesy lights. Just get the sockets and brackets. They're located at each end of the lower dash panel.
