88ComancheMitch
Yea. I work about 35 hours a week during the night, and then have college...on summer break for the rest of this week, and then progress will slow down for a month. I'm hoping to have everything "done" by August.
88ComancheMitch
Just messing around ^^ Getting the interior ready. The 2 places I stopped at today to get black plasti-dip were sold out. So I didn't get any. Going to go tomorrow and get some while I'm out. I'll be wrapping up some of the rest of the interior then and it will look a lot more complete. Here it is for now though... 88ComancheMitch
Welp....gas tank should be here monday or tuesday.....
88ComancheMitch
While I'm waiting for the gas tank and all I figured I might as well work on the interior some. Ive said it once and I'm sure I'll say it a million times, its not going to be a show truck. Just a DD and work truck. Thats why I'm cheating on the interior with plasti dip. :-)
88ComancheMitch
Starting to come together. Stopping for the night. Debating on painting the glove box for green and the bezel around the gauges green. Any one want to weigh in on the topic?
ComancheKid45
I think the black/green dash would look pretty cool! Great work so far!

88ComancheMitch
Well...I would post pics, but just a PSA, self-etching primer does not mix with Plast0i-Dip....
88ComancheMitch
No doors! Actually removable doors...but just something to add to the fun factor
88ComancheMitch
Old tank. Hole got massive. Not sure if I jacked it up and added to the stress crack or what.... New tank. Spray on rustoleum bad liner as a coating.
88ComancheMitch
Definitely changing the color to tan now...I have to redo this when I get a new trim piece, but I really love this color combo...
88ComancheMitch
School has been killing me, and slowing down the project, but I am still working on it as I can. I got the gauges all working. Painted more of the trim. Next thing to do is rework the vacuum lines. Here's a little entertainment

88ComancheMitch
I think its cracked.....APN header here I come...along with a 99+ intake manifold
88ComancheMitch
Ordering the header today. In the mean time, I flushed the front diff, and will be flushing the transfer case sometime this week/next weekend. Not quite as bad as the rear, but not good either. See the level of the fluid vs. the plug level... Cleaned up and ready for a cover and lube. Matching the rear.
88ComancheMitch
Waiting for the header to come in, so I've been getting everything all prettied up. EDIT: Got word that the header won't ship until next week. Fuel Rail... Before After Hardware also... Heat Shield....discoloration is due to drying. It's all one color... Going to get a 99+ Intake this weekend hopefully, it will be all black. Valve cover will be tan eventually. Weekend project is homework, and if I have time, bombing the engine bay flat black. If the header comes in the mail this week I'll be installing that as well.
