First off, WELCOME! Secondly, there are several nutz on here that would really like to know your build date being a 92 and all. If you don't have it, post or PM me your VIN number and Ill run it through Chrysler for you to get the exact date for you. I'm a Dealer tech and have access just so you know I'm not trying to do anyting weird! Again... Welcome to the madness.

Hey, Dasbulliwagon, sprechen ze Deutsch? Not to jump in the Newbies light but does any position in the VIN tell you what number truck in production you have? Like first, tenth or last built?

The last 6 of the VIN show the production numers in sequence, but they were tied in with the XJs as well so theres really no way to tell Comanche specific.

The woman at NJMVC pointed to a sequence on the 2.1L VIN and said it was the 8th one built. Not sure how true that is. Would be neat if it was so.

WOW, thats weird. I'm not sure how she would know either. Especially since the XJ's had been built since late 83 as 84 Models. Might be worth going back to ask the lady how or why she knows that, just for your reference.

Yeah, she seemed sure about it. I'll see her again soon enough. I'm sure I'll be dragging home another project before long. Got my eye on a SC truck. It's an 86 but it's also an X and has just about every factory option.
