I honestly don't know, but I guess... if you're lifting it 4" then it would need to be 4" longer.

 

Eagle? Opinion?

Since the driveshaft is at an angle, It actually doesnt take much for 4-5" of lift.

 

When i SOA'd mine, It only pulled about an inch maybe 1.25 inches out of the trans.

 

You should be able to SOA with a stock driveshaft/SY with a longbed.

No, stock joints are fine. You are seriously over thinking this.

 

Do the SOA and set the pinion in line with the t-case.

 

You will not need a longer SY. You have a long bed and it will be happy with the driveline angles.

 

Start researching shock mounts now. That is a whole new ball of wax on a MJ.

Drop pitman arm will actually worsen the angle difference between the drag link and the track bar, causing bump steer. To prevent bump steer you'll need a "rise" pitman arm, or a drop trackbar bracket.
