The majority of this project has been cosmetic. The first thing I tackled was the interior. Everything was cracked, rotted or covered in camo duct tape. I regret not taking any before shots but honestly it was embarassing. Add to that the nightmare of wires, crimps, unused harnesses and shorts throughout the truck- I figured my best plan of action would be to gut it and start from scratch.

The dash was not salvagable. It was held together by miles of camo duct tape and literally fell apart when I tried to remove it. I picked up an old XJ dash from LKQ for $30 and stretched some marine vinyl over it and cut a piece of carpet for the top to try and keep the Florida sun from doing any further damage.

looks good and great project, how did the wrap on the dash go? I tried this a few months back and was unsucessful. I say go for the 2tone door panels, would look sick.

keep up the good work

and like the lights in the bumper, i did something similar on my old xj
