I went ahead and picked up a set and will attempt to use them when I change my head gasket tomorrow. Alexia Posted November 9, 2013 Share Posted November 9, 2013 See those two studs sticking out of the smaller bolts in the bottom of the Fel-Pro product picture? Those are locator pins for the newer style valve cover gasket. Those bolts go in holes #8 and #9. At worst you buy the newer style valve gasket if the replacement does not have the holes. Head bolt sticking up at hole #8. Can see in the back where the gasket slips over it at hole #9. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
