So messing with my truck and my brothers truck today. I think his HO might have a rough idle. It idles at about 750 rpm but it shakes. Runs good though. It just feels like a rough idle and I was wondering if this is normal or what I could do to fix it?

I have no idea, honestly. He bought it in '11 with like 170k and hasnt put 5k on it. He's been so screwed over on suspension and steering that we didnt really notice the idle until now. He doesn't have a job currently so the plugs and all that will have to wait I guess.

750 rpm seems low to me but at the same time I feel like thats were it should be,, Ill go look at mine here soon lol  but the shaking could be coming from worn out motor mounts? :dunno:

We changed motor and transmission mounts last year with some rustys offroad HD mounts. I was hoping there was just a bad vacuum hose or something like that, like with my Renix. Its cheaper to just change a vacuum hose haha. But really the truck runs great and seems to get great gas mileage

Thats how my cherokee was when I first got, and it was due to a total lack of maintenance by the PO. Just did a full "tune-up" clean the throttle body and some 703s and it runs much better now.
