They had to extend the front to accommodate the longer engine... Interesting.

Why is the engine so long?? I've seen OM 617 conversions...and they're not longer, so why is there so much fab work?

The  engine in the picture is NOT an OM617 which is a 5 cylinder.  It is a 6 cylinder from a 99, read the ad again.

Oh, ok... yea, I see now.  But either way, that's pretty cool if there's a guy that will do this, but I noticed he didn't post a price...

They list the 5 cylinder engine in the description, yet the engine in the photos clearly has 6 runners for the intake.
