89MJMILSPEC
Well I just picked up my first Jeep and it happens to be an 89 MJ 4.0 5spd 2wd. The injectors were all coated in JBWeld (i would assume to stop the injector leak) and not firing. I have used a noid light set and verified the signal was getting to them so I am going tro buy the upgraded units when I get paid. Either way I am new here just wanted to introduce myself. Names Brian and I am from a podunk town just outside Ft.benning GA /Columbus Ga. Edit: The vinyl down the side of the truck says "Sportruck"..... From what I have been able to find that is the "base" model?
ComancheKid45
You are correct, the Sportruck was a base model Comanche. Glad to have ya here! This is a very good group of guys and a few girls all with a weird passion for a 20+ year old little pickup. Youll fit right in  . :MJ 1: . 89MJMILSPEC
I have wanted one since the first(and only) time I drove one when I was 14. Just the low range torque of the I6 and the 5 speed, when this one was posted up on my local craigslist fir $500 and ran with starter fluid I knew I had to have it so I sold the wheels to my project Corolla to fund the purchase of the Comanche. Thank you both for the welcome wishes.

89MJMILSPEC
It is too late I have already started tinkering with the truck doing some little things that I know will need to be done soon anyway, as well as spray bombing it od green.
