Engine Bay Picture Request

Hello all! Well as the title says I'm triyng to get some pictures on an 1986 2.5 tbi engine bay, bcs I think I might be missing some vaccum lines.

Thats a picture of mine, I'm kinda confused with the CCV/pvc valve issue :S

The one line closest to the firewall should run to your air filter box.

I'm actually having a similar issue. I inherited a project from my dad except it has no vacuum lines... at all. I've been looking for a kit or a harness but none for an 86 2.5 tbi. Any suggestions?

Nope there's no actual vacuum line kit like the 4.0s have....just gota make your own....like I did just went to the auto parts store and figuring out sizes and lengths to each line

You wouldn't have wrote down all the sizes somewhere, would you? The closest parts store is about half an hour away. Also what type of line did you use? Vacuum, Fuel, Silicone? And how much did it cost?

Would b nice to know that, and probly we migh need some "T"s, and as theres nothing on the bottom groomet of my valve cover, should something be there?

And on the top groomet I have the PCV valve.

All this vacuum thing its like a puzzle haha but an interesting one.

No I don't remember the sizes....what I did was cut about a half inch of vacuum line and brought them back to the store and on a peice of paper the sizes needed for each line....

 

And for egm89

 

that piece on the bottom of the valve cover has a hose that goes to the side of the throttle body or if iirc I don't remember if the 86 has that hose going to the intake manifold...
