TheDirtyJeep401
Thats one I have heard is good, and it sounds durable too.
buffalob
I can't yet comment as to durability (it's only been on a couple of weeks and the truck is not on the road yet) but at 25% of what I was quoted by Line-X and how good it looks, I say this U-Pol Raptor $#!& is awesome. jimoshel
That does look good. Be waitin' to hear how it holds up.
GirsMJ86
Prep is huge with diy liner. The stuff I've been around becomes brittle with time and constant UV exposure and will just come off in chunks if it wasn't prepped well.
buffalob
I am a stickler for prep trust me.....I did not shoot the stuff on, but after watching my painter shoot the bumpers last Friday, I would not hesitate to give it a try. Will keep you posted as to how it holds up.
TheDirtyJeep401
Please do, I am constantly hauling stuff and would like it to hold up well.
Htchevyii
Make sure that you get a catalyzed one, the single part ones don't get very hard. My whole truck is shot with SEM http://www.tcpglobal.com/autobodydepot/sembedliner.aspx

I like what you did there, just wondering but where did you get the front bumper? I like it, and how you lined it too, can't wait to see what it looks like on the MJ. buffalob
My bumpers sliders etc .were built by Jarrod Fessler. The rear bumper sliders bed rail caps and the modification of the factory roll bar to hold my spare tire are custom made for the truck, the front bumper however is on of his standard offerings for a Cherokee (my son has the same front bumper on his 99 XJ). His company name is Fessybuilt he has a web site. The company has been closed for about 8 months following a divorce and subsequent relocation to Brighton Colorado. I spoke with him last week to inquire about a second set of the bed rail caps on the truck for the matching trailer. He said that he hopes to back up and running by end of August and will again be accepting orders. If you want to see pics of all his stuff when it was still mounted to my truck before the Raptor was on them and before the truck was disassembled for paint. Check my build thread.. dakal
Prep is huge with diy liner. The stuff I've been around becomes brittle with time and constant UV exposure and will just come off in chunks if it wasn't prepped well. i used a bed liner sold here in oregon. lots of prep done. cost $51.00 a gallon. fades some, after two years some scratches and chips up otherwise has held up well. every three years i will roll the bed, and be good to go. it was one part. if i could fine two part i would prefer that. buffalob
Both the SEM and the U-Pol Raptor Products are Catalyzed (two part) noticed that the SEM offered a separate "adhesion promoter" might have gone that route had I known sooner. If you look on line at the bed liner Kit (U-Pol) it include both parts, and a gun to shoot the stuff (I would not want to put anything this gloppy through a good gun btw) ...almost idiot proof ( good thing in my case). I bought 2 complete kits off e-bay for $ 109.00 per kit. They were on the door step 3 days later....
AMCJeepMJ
For the spray-in DIY liners, do you mask the tie-down loops in the corners of the bed or just spray them as well?
