 thank you for the link to diagrams...... sorry not listing of  over the year ,its a 1987 mj with 4 wheel drive, 4 liter engine ...plus it has the pogo stick tranny ...well it was fubared by bunch of ............! its been a trip to fix

I think he's referring to the Pugeot tranny.

Not all of the wiring in the linked file is the same for the 87.  The wire connectors changed from 87 to 88.  Not all but some behind the dash.
