thejum57 Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Is the location of the "rear speakers" in a Comanche that "grill" at the bottom of the plastic panels where the seat belts are? I want to buy new speakers and want to install them in the right spot. Thanks
TheDirtyJeep401 Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 If that is what you are talking about then yes you can fit 6x9 back there (Mine are cut up from the previous owner) :fs1:
Keyav8r Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 That's the place. If yours doesn't have the speaker brackets you'll have to find a pair in the Wanted section or fab some. I believe the rear speakers are 4" x 6".
ComancheJon Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Rear holders are meant for 4x6" speakers. I'm not using them and instead making a small box to hold tools, a sub, amp, and 2 6x9" speakers behind the seats
onlyinajeep726 Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 I found this idea to be an easier option for me (see below)... That, paired with 6.5" subs in the door and an awesome Pioneer Supertuner IIID. Sounds like I'm at a recording studio every time I listen to music. Couldn't be happier.
