RockinMJ
Since I have the motor out thought the least I could do was put new gasket kit on it. It has 220,000 miles on it. Needing a good recomendation for a good complete gasket kit. Thanks
Geonovast
Last time I bought a complete kit, I got a Felpro, which ran me about $140ish.Make sure you get the rubber gaskets for oil pan and valve cover. A bit more expensive, but it is worth it many times over.

RockinMJ
Found a complete set from Sealed Power 119.00 shipped. It is a complete kit. The felpro kits are not complete.
Alexia
Found a complete set from Sealed Power 119.00 shipped. It is a complete kit. The felpro kits are not complete. That is exactly what I bought. Not only it is a complete kit, but it covers ALL 4.0L engines from 1984 to 2006! There will be left over gaskets for different types of water pumps and thermostat housings. My only issue with the kit is the cheap paper gasket for the water pump has started to leak already.
RockinMJ
Thanks for the responses. I believe i will go with the Sealed Power and maybe get a different different water pump gasket .
JeepcoMJ
I've never not had enough gaskets in a fel-pro gasket set. the only thing they shunt on is the other 6 injector o-rings.

Alexia
Federal Mogul = Fel-Pro = Sealed Power The Sealed Power set has Fel-Pro branded gaskets and Sealed Power gaskets which are just Fel-Pro gaskets with a different name.
JeepcoMJ
yup. aside from ordering specific thickness head gaskets for strokers, I just get my gaskets from the local parts store.

JeepcoMJ
search on ebay though for the correct kit for your MJ or XJ 4.0 for the proper year your parts are going into/came out of. that kit is for a 99 wj, and they can be had cheaper if you search.
