1988 4.0 Aw4

Recommended Posts

Hello, I've taken some time before introducing myself.  Picked up my Jeep about a month ago and have since been restoring and creating a stable and reliable daily driver.  It is indeed a 4.0 with an AW4 and Dana 35 rear.  I know I have a lot ahead and will be preparing for an AX15 and 4x4 conversion when my budget allows.  This was purchased through an auction and have not been certain on certain things currently installed (specific ride height).  However, after inspecting the vacuum system, replacing hoses, new front brakes, cleaning the throttle and flushing most of the fluids it has successfully passed the 1,000 mile mark under new ownership (odo 258,400).  I'm planning to acquire Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO's within two weeks as well as rear shocks.  Not sure what i'll get for the rear yet.  Anyway, great to be here and hope to contribute as best I can.  Cheers!

Welcome to the site! I cleaned up your duplicate topics. The server gets a bit bogged down during prime time, so if your post takes some time to go through, just give it the time. It will sit there and spin, but it should go through eventually.

I got distracted reading through your 87-97 conversion.  Will do

:agree: There are a ton of distractions on this site. Welcome!  What a backdrop for Comanche glamor photos! Were those taken near Flagstaff?  I noticed the Cali tags. Appears to be sporting OEM ten hole wheels. Roll bar in or out?  Very clear platform.
