Goose Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 Anyone have a picture of SOA done with 31" tires? I have the parts for my axle swap and lift, just no bigger tires yet. Waiting on taxes. How goofy will it look and will it be stable and safe.
codymanche Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 i have 33"s just look at big green truck. if that helps my fenders are also cut.
Goose Posted February 20, 2013 Author Posted February 20, 2013 I'll be sitting at 6.5-7" rear and 6.5" up front. Stock fenders.
Goose Posted February 20, 2013 Author Posted February 20, 2013 Lol, thats EXACTLY the look I was going for.
92tanMJ Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 here's another pic So this is stock finders on 5" of lift with 31's? Did you just go straight to SOA or did you have/get new/different packs?
mnkyboy Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 Yes stock fender flairs in stock location, 5" front(could be a little more since I have a 4cyl), and soa on stock 4x4 leafs.
Goose Posted February 21, 2013 Author Posted February 21, 2013 I already have new springs in the rear, 3" lift. I'll be higher than that.
mnkyboy Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 If you go SOA with 3" lift springs you will need around 9" up front if you want it to sit level, 7" might give it a stockish rake. I had to go almost 7" up front to get the truck in the pics to sit level.
Goose Posted February 21, 2013 Author Posted February 21, 2013 I'm gonna take out the aal, and maybe switch to a stock shackle.
89Comanche4x4 Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 yeah my truck with 4.5 inch lif coils in the front and the SOA in the rear woulda looked great with 31's, but i went for 33s. they fit in the back but the front took a beating haha. oh well 98 swap soon. but i think it will look good, definetly go stock leafs and stock shackles though. you can also play around with the leafs in the back to get it to match the front
